How It Works in Museums
Beacon Placement:
iBeacons are installed near exhibits (e.g., paintings, artifacts, or interactive displays).
Visitor’s Device:
The museum’s app (or a web-based guide) detects the beacon’s signal via Bluetooth.
Triggered Content: When a visitor approaches an exhibit, the app automatically plays the corresponding audio/video guide in their preferred language.
